ESTATES OF DECEASED PERSONS WITH KNOWN HEIRS

California Code of Civil Procedure declares the County must semiannually report and transfer to the State Controller’s Office any unclaimed estates of deceased persons with known heirs that have been on deposit with the County for one year prior to the closing date of the reporting period.

CURRENT LIST OF ESTATES OF DECEASED PERSONS
Click on the link below to access the current list and obtain a Claim Form:

CLAIM PROCESS
Submit the following items to the address stated below:
  • NOTARIZED copy of Estates of Deceased Persons with Know Heirs Claim Form
  • Government issued photo identification (driver’s license, state identification card, passport, etc.)
  • Copy of heir’s birth certificate
