The Electronic Payments Association has received reports that individuals and/or companies have received a fraudulent e-mail that has the appearance of having been sent from NACHA.  Read more...

"Phishing" usually comes in the form of fraudulent emails appearing to originate from legitimate sources. The email asks customers to verify personal information or link to counterfeit web sites that appear real.

The Riverside County Treasurer - Tax Collector will never request personal or financial information such as credit card numbers, bank account numbers or social security numbers in an e-mail. If you should ever receive a suspicious email that says it’s from the Riverside County Treasurer-Tax Collector, do not respond or click on any link provided, but please report the incident to our office immediately at 951-955-3900.
