For security purposes, cash paying taxpayers are highly encouraged to buy a money order or cashier’s check for mailing or drop off.  If for some reason that is not an option and cash must be paid, it can be dropped off in the drop box at our Riverside location only between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm.  Payments dropped off in the secure drop box at the Downtown Riverside County Administrative Center must be:

  • Exact amount due including coin (No change or refunds will be issued)
  • In a sealed envelope or packaging
  • Accompanied by Identifying information
      Name, address and contact number of party making payment
      Pin Number or bill number (Include tax bill payment stubs if available)
      If paying multiple PINs, please place payments in separate packages
