Don Kent, Treasurer

Welcome To Our Web Site!

My view for the office not only incorporates the important fiduciary role we play, but also recognizes the important element of public services we provide. A significant portion of our resources are dedicated to helping the public answer questions regarding their taxes. My staff and I are dedicated to finding ways to improve our level of service within our limited budget. Please contact us with any suggestions you may have, including suggestions for this web site.

Our office bills and collects based upon the Assessor's roll. For address changes, ownership changes, exemptions or questions about value contact the Assessor.

Our office understands property owner’s concerns over the current real estate market and the impact it may have on property taxes. In a declining real estate market, the market value of a property may actually be lower than the assessed value. If this is the case, the property may qualify for a temporary decline-in-value reassessment under Proposition 8. Properties that qualify for this temporary reduction are reviewed annually and may be further reduced, partially restored, or fully restored to the value that it would have been assessed had it not been reduced under Prop 8. For more information click here.

You can make property tax payments over the phone by calling (951) 955-3900 (credit cards only).

You may contact our office by email at ttc@co.riverside.ca.us. If available, please include Assessor's Parcel Number in your message.
